Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Biuld collects, why we use it, where it may be processed and the choices you have about your data.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create or use a Biuld account, communicate through Biuld, participate in collaboration, or contact us.

  • Account information: information such as your name, email address, username and authentication information. Passwords are stored in hashed form, not as plain-text passwords.
  • Messages and social data: messages, chats, group membership, attachments, reactions, read state and other information needed to provide communication features.
  • Collaboration data: information needed to establish and synchronize live collaboration sessions between participants, together with session metadata such as participants, status and timestamps.
  • Technical data: information produced when your device communicates with the Service, which may include IP address, request information, device or browser information, and operational logs.
  • Support and feedback: information you choose to send when contacting us.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, messaging, file sharing and collaboration; authenticate users and secure accounts and chats; deliver enabled notifications; operate and troubleshoot Biuld; respond to support; and prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access.

On Biuld's public website, we also use analytics to understand visits, interactions with the site and site performance. This website analytics is separate from activity inside the Biuld application.

3. Cookies and browser storage

Biuld uses cookies for functions such as authentication and session management. We also use browser local storage and session storage for application state, including helping chats and messages load and behave correctly on your device.

Biuld's public website may use cookies and similar browser technologies as part of analytics and performance measurement. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

4. Service providers and data processing

We use infrastructure and service providers to operate Biuld. Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed or stored through providers including Vercel for web deployment, Railway for database infrastructure, dreep.cloud for file storage, and infrastructure used to host Biuld's backend. Web Push infrastructure may also process notification delivery information when you enable push notifications.

On the public Biuld website, we use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand website visits, interactions and performance. These services may process technical and usage information about visits to the public website.

These providers process information as needed to deliver their services to Biuld. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the Service or its users, or as part of a reorganization, acquisition or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information handled by Biuld. Connections to Biuld are protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS where applicable. Messages are not currently end-to-end encrypted, which means you should not treat Biuld as an end-to-end encrypted messaging service.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account information while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service. When an account deletion is requested, account data may take up to 30 days to be removed from active systems, except where we need to retain limited information for security, legal or other legitimate operational reasons.

When you delete a message through Biuld, the message is removed from the user-facing conversation. Biuld may retain a record that a deletion occurred without retaining the deleted message content itself.

7. Your choices and rights

You may be able to update certain account information directly in Biuld. You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.

You can disable push notifications through your browser or device settings. Removing browser storage or cookies may sign you out or reset parts of the application state.

8. Children's privacy

Biuld is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we may take steps to remove the account and associated personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

Biuld will continue to change as the product develops. We may update this Privacy Policy when our features, data practices, providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with its latest update date.
